Hey everyone, can you find me in the photo with my new family?  I think I am the cutest one in the photo.  On the couch is my new Dad, Robert with Rosie.  My Mom is Sheliah and she is in the floor with Lucy,  Rocky and me Pansy.  Some of you might recognize Rocky, he used to be Heifner and he was in rescue also.  I am a beautiful fawn lady, and I am the shyest in the family.  I know everyone will recognize my mom Sheliah because she was the lady that drove 12 hours to get me so I could join rescue. All I can say is she must have been staring in my big brown eyes that day because from that day forward she loved me.  I had a couple surgeries because my breathing was horrible but look at me now!  I am healthy,  beautiful and I can finally breathe.  I love my new family, and they love me.  What a fabulous life this is going to be!

I’m sure glad to be here! How I landed in a shelter, I will never know. What I do know is that there was no air conditioning there and I was one hot Bulldog! It must have been my lucky day when the shelter veterinarian saw me. I was then moved into the clinic until they could find me a rescue group.
I loved it at the clinic. I had a bath, got all my vaccinations and I hung out at the front desk and greeted their customers! The best news was when I heard the vet had secured a rescue that would take me. I packed my bags and headed north with Sheliah, a volunteer who drove 12 hours just to save me. Sheliah is in the photo hugging me really tight.
I have some breathing problems and I’ll need help with that. They call it soft palate surgery. I hear it will help me breathe better and not gasp for air.
I went to visit Dr. Larsen today, to sit in her lap to discuss my care and eat ice cream. My throat hurts and I know ice cream will make me feel a lot better. I hear it makes you feel better too. Am I right? Stay tuned for more updates about me.
